CLARK FIELD – Ten beauteous candidates of the Miss Earth 2008 visited the Paradise Ranch at the Sacobia Valley here on Saturday making heads turn and mouths gape in awe. The ten candidates, who are part of the 85 lovely candidates of the Miss Earth 2008 pageant, visited the pristine Paradise Ranch to commune with nature and nurture the environment.

Paradise Ranch General Manager Erik D. Gomez was on hand to welcome the candidates from Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Indonesia, Malta, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Panama and Slovac Republic. The ten Miss Earth beauties toured the premiere rest, recreaction and picnic area in Clark before planting pine trees and releasing a bird as part of the Ranch’s advocacy to save and nurture the environment.

Tribal Dancers of the ranch entertained the guest who gamely joined their ethnic dance number. Gomez said the rain suddenly stopped as soon as the Miss Earth beauties arrived at around 10 a.m. Clark Development Corporation (CDC) public relations officer Sonny Lopez disclosed that the swimsuit competition was held at the Fontana Convention Center on Saturday night. On November 9 one of the title aspirants will be crowned Miss Earth at the Clark Expo Amphitheater.
